Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Metricstab service. Metricstab is owned and operated by PL Tech Labs, a company incorporated under the laws of India ("Metricstab", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Agreement and eligibility

By creating a Metricstab account or using the service you accept these Terms. If you are using Metricstab on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.

2. The service

Metricstab provides SEO analytics, reporting, and workflow tools that connect to third-party data sources you authorize (such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Google PageSpeed Insights). We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, but will give reasonable notice of material changes that adversely affect paying customers.

3. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@metricstab.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Plans, trials and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance by our merchant of record (Paddle) on the monthly or annual cycle you choose. New accounts include a 14-day trial of premium features without a credit card; at the end of the trial, access to premium features ends until you choose a paid plan, and your account data is retained (see the Privacy Policy for retention periods). Prices are listed exclusive of applicable taxes; Paddle calculates and collects taxes (including GST/VAT) as required by your jurisdiction.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Metricstab to: (a) break any applicable law, including India's Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023; (b) abuse third-party APIs in a way that violates their terms; (c) infringe intellectual-property rights; (d) interfere with the service or its other users; or (e) attempt to access data you are not authorized to access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. Your data and content

You retain all ownership rights in data you connect, upload, or that we collect from services on your authorization. You grant Metricstab a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use that data solely for the purpose of operating the service for you. 7. Third-party services

Connecting Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google PageSpeed Insights, or any other provider is subject to those providers' own terms. Metricstab is not responsible for outages, data quality, rate-limit changes, deprecations, or changes in those services. Your use of data obtained through Google APIs is also governed by the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel at any time from Billing settings. See our Refund Policy for the 14-day money-back guarantee and renewal terms.

9. Warranties and disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Metricstab does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the analytics produced are accurate for any particular purpose.

Metricstab is an analytics and reporting tool. We do not guarantee any particular search ranking, traffic, conversion, or revenue outcome. Our insights and recommendations — including automated, statistical, or AI-generated suggestions — are advisory only and are not professional, legal, or financial advice. You are solely responsible for any changes you choose to make to your websites in reliance on the service.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will Metricstab, PL Tech Labs, its directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for any claim related to the service is capped at the fees you paid Metricstab in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred United States dollars (US$100), whichever is greater.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PL Tech Labs and its affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, or damage (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the service, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to mandatory rights consumers may have under their local laws, the courts at Delhi NCR, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the service. Either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual-property rights or confidential information.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
